I thought I would give a written update on everything that is going on right now...I lost the cord that connects my camera to my computer so sadly there will be no amazing pictures on this post (aside from the lame one below of me eating bruschetta taken using photobooth on my mac).
Basically everyone has been working on our Civil Litigation final for the last week. We're supposed to design a complete civil litigation procedural system...and that is just for question one. Fortunately the "complete" part of the question has now changed to "8 aspects" of a civil litigation system. Unfortunately most of us think that the U.S. has the best system out there, and our ideal system is pretty much the same with minor changes. My system so far is pretty much just Texas', which is obviously the best in the world.
Right now I am eating a little bruschetta pizza at an outside cafe in St. Julian's. I'm typing this and working on civil litigation. Ginny's boyfriend James got in to Malta yesterday, and within one hour of being here informed us that the cafe right next to us has wifi and the password is just the phone number. We've been here for 3 weeks and hadn't figure that out yet. Yeah, that's right, we're in law school. No McDonalds and screaming French children if you want to use the internet anymore. Thanks James. (Picture below is me enjoying the bruschetta and internet connection. Obviously.)
Everyone in the stcl group is sick or has been sick. I'm the latest victim of this plague. I was hoping that my throat hurt because I had been yelling last night, but unfortunately I am starting to feel worse and despite the advil and extra sleep, I still feel awful. I thought that I had avoided the sickness because Susan is just now starting to get over it herself. However, it apparently was just hiding out...waiting to ruin the end of the trip for everyone. The previous victims are: Ginny, Matt, Susan, Gary, and Hengst. They will be missed. I think Hengst, Susan, and Ginny brought back some weird Scottish virus from Edinburg...because it obviously couldn't have been the group that went to Italy and slept on the floor of a public train. Beau played last night at Muddy Waters. He rocked! Pictures of that are also soon to follow. Kristen's birthday is tonight! She's turning 24. We will be celebrating tonight I believe. Pictures of that to follow as well.
The End...or is it?
